Our Services

Horizons Health & Wellness Center is an accredited Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Charles County, Maryland. We offer Counseling, Medication Management, IOP, and PRP services. Individual Therapy (sometimes called “psychotherapy” or “counseling”) is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment.

Relationship Counseling can benefit couples and families looking to strengthen their emotional connection in all relationship stages. Group Counseling is typically a small group of no more than 10 participants and therapists,

engage in a psychosocial form of counseling. For some patients and certain mental health conditions, "Psychiatry" and "Medication" are integral parts of the recovery and healing process. We provide individualized medication management services for patients who need this next step in their treatment.

Our goal is to support those struggling with conditions with persistently debilitating psychiatric symptoms and severely impaired functioning and gain social, emotional, and intellectual skills needed to live successfully in their community. Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)

Horizons Health & Wellness Center aims to improve health and wellness by compassionately addressing mental health needs through prevention, intervention, treatment, education, and advocacy. As a community-based organization, it teaches life skills to adults and kids, provides quality outpatient care for substance abusers and those with behavior issues, and helps individuals gain the confidence to restore their lives.

Individual Counseling

Adult and minor clients work one-on-one with a trained mental health clinician in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Our counselors show empathy and understanding, creating a non-judgmental space for clients to explore their emotions and experiences.
